Thomas Muller to Manchester United..

Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal spoke about a potential surprise move for a forward player earlier this week and if these reports are true Muller would surely be the player he was talking about.
25-year-old Muller has been at Bayern Munich for 15 years having joined the club as a youth player back in 2000, winning four Bundesliga titles and the Champions League since breaking into the first-team.
The Red Devils have signed Bastian Schweinsteiger already this summer it appears but Muller would be an even more surprising addition from the German champions if it were to happen.
Sport 1 claim that Manchester United have already had an offer of €82m (£57m) turned down but that they have returned with a bid of €100m, only for that to be rejected by Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummeniggeas well.
Unless the player demands a move from his boyhood club it is difficult to see Bayern Munich letting him go, especially as he is seen by many as the jewel in their crown.
Manchester United reporter Stuart Mathieson at the Manchester Evening News has also acted quickly to play down the rumours, saying that no bid has been made by the club.
