Ozil reveals he's still SEVEN weeks from Arsenal return
The 26-year-old tore a ligament in his knee on international duty with Germany last month and has confirmed he will not feature for the Gunners again until early 2015

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has revealed that he will miss another seven weeks as he continues to recover from a knee ligament injury.

Ozil has not featured for the Gunners since producing an uninspiring display in a comprehensive 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on October 5 after tearing a ligament in his left knee on international duty with Germany.

The world champions predicted at the time that Ozil would be sidelined for the rest of 2014 and now the player himself has reiterated that he will not return to action until January.
"I've been out injured for five weeks, and I will miss another seven weeks. That's a long time, indeed," he told reporters at the Laureus Media Prize ceremony in Malaysia on Wednesday.

"Sadly, I am ruled out because of my knee. But it is like that in football sometimes. Chin up, and move on."
